Anita du Toit is a director at GMI in the Commercial Litigation and Public Law Department. She was appointed as an associate in this department in 2014, after completing her articles in 2012 and 2013. During that time, she gained experience in legal areas including personal injury matters, property law, general litigation, public law and commercial litigation.
Anita was appointed as a senior associate in 2017 and Director in 2020. Since her appointment as Senior Associate, she has gained extensive experience in Medical Schemes and Healthcare Law, Financial Regulation and Compliance, commercial and contractual litigation, and administrative law. She has assisted numerous clients in these fields with positive results.

Anita is also a member of the Institute for Commercial Forensic Practitioners as well as an associate member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
