Promise Tlaka is an Associate in GMI’s General Litigation Department. Promise obtained his LLB from the University of Pretoria in 2020 and commenced his articles of clerkship with GMI Attorneys in 2022, where he gained experience in the assessment of liability of the wrongdoer in personal injury, wrongful arrest, and product liability matters, litigation in respect of medical negligence claims arising from the failure by a medical professional to exercise reasonable skill and care when treating a patient, and conducting litigation on behalf of the injured party. Promise was further exposed to commercial litigation. He was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court in 2024.
